Banarasi suit three piece set in silk, kurta fabric in blood red colour with bandhej woven boota in green, yellow, orange, magenta, and spiral floral zari work. Salwar fabric in plain red colour and contrast silk dupatta in sky blue colour with chequered weave in zari and small square resham meenakari weave in orange and magenta.

Bandhej, also known as Bandhani, is the oldest form of tie & die art from India that involves dyeing a fabric tied tightly with a thread at several points, producing a variety of patterns. Bandhani comes in a variety of colors, designs & patterns and these variations are region specific. The colors that are most frequently used in Bandhani are yellow, red, green, blue and black. After the processing is over, Bandhani work results into a variety of symbols including dots, waves, strips and squares. The patterns include Leheriya, Mothra, Ekdali and Shikari depending on the manner in which the cloth has been tied.
As with any Banarasi product, this 3 piece suit-set is embellished with detailed floral motifs, foliate motifs and a string of leaves and has gold brocade or ‘Zari’ work, small motifs or designs, compact weaving and a metallic appeal.
