What is ‘My Account’? How do I update my information?

 It is easy to update your Indokuni.com account and view your orders any time through ‘My Account’.

    ‘My Account’ allows you complete control over your transactions on Indokuni.com

  • Manage/edit your personal data like address, phone numbers, email ids
  • Change your password
  • Track the status of your orders

How to track my order?

You can view the status of your order by going on your Order Acknowledgement page.

You will be redirected to your Order Acknowledgement Page. 

Please find below the status definitions for your order.

Status of Order:

  1. a) NEW –  Your order hasn’t been processed yet.

    b) PENDING – Your order has been processed and is waiting on the designer to dispatch your order.

    c) DISPATCH– Your order has been dispatched. You should receive or should have received an email at this point with the tracking Information.  Please visit Courier partners website to get latest update on where your courier has reached.

    d) COMPLETE– This is an estimate that you have received your package and order has been marked as complete by the designer. Please contact us immediately in case you have not yet received the item.

What is ‘Online Satti’ and how does it work?

‘Online Satti’ is an initiative by IndoKuni.com to enable the customer directly interact with the weaver via the online video apps. The customer needs to let us know their specific requirements by filling up the requisition form by clicking here. Once we receive the form we will coordinate with the weaver and set up a video call as per the customers’ convenience. The detailed process is mentioned here.

Can I order a product that is ‘Out of Stock’?

Unfortunately, products listed as ‘Out of Stock’ are not available for sale. Please use the ‘Notify Me’ feature to be informed of the product’s availability with sellers on Indokuni.com.

 

Can I accept the package after checking the contents inside it?

Sorry, as per company policy, a package can’t be opened before delivery is accepted.

But you can accept the package & get in touch with us later in case you have any concerns.

My order is delayed. What should I do?

On the rare occasion that your order is delayed, please check your email & messages for updates. A new delivery timeframe will be shared with you.

Does Indokuni deliver internationally ?

Yes, we deliver worldwide. Shipping is charged extra and is explained below. You will be able to see shipping charges at the final checkout page for the items you have selected. International shipping is available for all except fragile items. You can place the order directly on the website.

Shipping Charges: 
You can find the shipping charges by selecting your country on the order page. Shipping cost may vary depending on the location.

Delivery Time: 15 -18 business days for unstitched /semi stitched, and 22 – 28 business days for stitched garments.

 

The order will come to New Delhi for the Quality Verification first and then be shipped to your Address. We will send you the tracking details as soon as your order gets shipped from here.

 

Will the delivery be re-attempted if I’m not able to collect my order the first time?

Yes, we’ll make sure that the delivery is re-attempted the next working day if you can’t collect your order the first time.

 

I found the package open and the product seal broken. What should I do?

You can request for the item to be replaced or returned by visiting My Orders. Use the ‘Return’ option here & fill out the details of the issue so that we can help you.

 

What should I do if my order is approved but not yet dispatched for a long time?

Please contact our Customer Support so that we can look into this.

How do I know my order has been confirmed?

We’ll send you an e-mail & SMS once you’ve successfully placed your order!  We’ll also let you know the tracking number(s) for your shipment(s) as soon as it is dispatched. 

 

I haven’t received the invoice for my order.

A hard copy of the invoice is sent along with your order. If you have not received a hard copy you can request for a soft copy by Contacting Us.

 

Why am I not able to track my order?

Please check after 24 hours as the tracking ID for your order will take some time to be activated once it’s shipped.

 

Can I change the delivery date of my order?

Unfortunately, we are unable to honor requests for specific delivery dates, however rest assured that we will deliver by the promised delivery date.

 

Is it fine to wash Sarees in Washing Machine?

Sarees are gentle and delicate and that’s why the handwashing and dry cleaning are the best ways to keep them new. When you will wash it in the machine, it may ruin its entire look. Also, the size of the saree may shrink. That’s why you must clean it carefully. According to the fabric, you can decide which fabric have to be washed in what way. For cotton and silk sarees, you should avoid machine washing, while for synthetic sarees like georgette and polyester, you can prefer it. However, if you are confused regarding the fabric, then dry cleaning and handwashing will help.

What are the best ways to store sarees in cupboard or wardrobe?

The best ways to store your saree is either on the hanger after pressing it or in the bag with naphthalene balls. You should always focus on the weight, texture, colour, weaves and work of the saree. Also, check the climatic conditions around it and make your saree look special. When you are keeping them in your wardrobe or cupboard, try to find the ways of keeping the insects and warms away. And according to us, the naphthalene balls and dry neem leaves will help. Here’s another tip for you, never store a saree as soon after wearing it and allow it to get some air.

Why sarees are so expensive?

Sarees are expensive because they are made up of 6 to 9 yards of fabric. The extra fabric increases the cost of any garment. Not only this, most of the sarees are found with embellishing and embroidery work, which are quite expensive and makes a saree look heavier. Also, In India, you can find many different kinds of fabrics, where no two pieces of cloth cost the same. So if you are paying more for a saree, then it means it is made up of good quality fabric. And the best part is that not every saree costs a lot and you can find some amazing designs in reasonable sarees also. It’s just, you have to define needs and choose the best saree for yourself.

How to Remove Oil Stain from sarees?

The best and easiest way to remove the oil stain from your sarees is by applying talcum powder or baking soda on the spot and let it sit for an hour. After that, brush away the powder and clean it normally using a mild detergent. You should make sure to bloat as much oil as possible using the paper towel before moving forward to this process. If you still feel that stain is on the saree, simply air dry it. It will make sure that stain removal. Tip: Don’t leave the stain for a longer time and act quickly.

How to identify the quality of your Sarees?

The best ways to identify the quality of your saree is by doing some easy Tests:

  • Touch Test: The easiest and quickest way to know the quality is by rubbing the fabric with hands. Synthetic fabrics are not warmth on rubbing, while real fabrics are.
  • Ring Test: The genuine sarees will not be able to come out from a ring, while artificial ones will.
  • Consider the price: If you are paying more for the saree, then it will be in better quality.
  • Look at the weaves: The good quality sarees are made up of good quality woven fabric and have no extra threads. So choose it.
