Kota Doria (also spelled as Kota Dori) is a unique blend of cotton and silk in a square check pattern. The silk provides the shine while the cotton provides strength to the fabric. The name Kota Doria is taken from its place of origin, Kota in Rajasthan, India. The weavers behind this fabric were known as ‘Masurias’ and originally were from Mysore, Karnataka.

The checked pattern is termed as ‘khat’, and is one of the distinguishing feature of this hand woven fabric. Kota Doria is a very fine weave and weigh very less.

This saree with a pink base and an orange border exudes sheer elegance. Pair it with open toe flats to complete the summer look.
