Silk and blended silk are very similar in strength, texture, and appearance. Blended silk is seen as a cheaper alternative that is more durable due to its mixed fabric. The blended fabric increases antimicrobial properties. Blended silk is a great alternative to enjoy the natural silk’s appearance and feel, and also are stronger and durable.
As with any Banarasi product, this Table-runner is embellished with detailed floral motifs, foliate motifs and a string of leaves and has gold brocade or ‘Zari’ work, small motifs or designs, compact weaving and a metallic appeal.
