This saree has 70 mm of plain fabric in the beginning which is being provided in order to ensure that the inner first fold of saree remains comfortable around the skin and the saree stays tight and takes body shape to the extent possible not allowing the saree look fluffy. However care should be taken that the saree is tied in such manner that the starting point of zari weave should come just in front of little toe of left foot when tying a ‘ulta palla’ (formal style) saree.
